Problems
1. No sophisticated color correction system for home video.
2. DV’s auto exposure and auto white balancing increase its complexity.
3. Difficult to choose right exposure when the DV is moving.


Single scene
1. Generate DV and display color profiles for accurate device-to-device color correction.
Varied scenes
1. Test DV scene adaptive characteristics using special designed display patterns.
2. Auto video summarization to select key frames.
3. Detect skin, grass and sky areas in the key frames for auto color correction.
4. Taking viewing condition into account.
5. Develop auto retouching algorithm to recover clipped tones.
